Two Months of Experiment

Jul29

We have been experimenting for 2 months now in Warehouse X on the effects of sunlight on aging barrels. The barrels are experiencing our Kentucky summer climate and we are watching them closely to ensure the chambers are responding as they are designed, to the fluctuating sunlight, temperature, and humidity. We have had a fairly hot summer here in Kentucky with our average high temperature at 94 degrees over the past two months compared to an historical average of a high of 87 degrees. Our precipitation has been lower than the historical average with only 0.09 average inches of rain falling compared to an historical average of 3.88 inches. The barrels are sleeping quietly while we take weekly measurements to watch how they are aging.
