Warehouse X is Loaded!

Jun18

Our team spent the day yesterday filling Warehouse X with our first 150 barrels!
Barrels were loaded, probed, and measured. Now the wait begins to observe the experiment's results.
Our first experiment is measuring the effects of sunlight on aging bourbon barrels. This test will run for a minimum of 2 years.

• Hypothesis
o Higher amounts of sunlight speeds the extraction process of barrel components up
o Lower amounts of sunlight reduces the extraction process of barrel components down
• Experimental Methods
o Breezeway: Control Barrels
Barrels are located in a breezeway experiencing open air flow, light, humidity, and temperature fluctuations.
o Chamber One: 50% light
External temperature and humidity = same as control barrels in breezeway
o Chamber Two: 0% light
External temperature and humidity = constant
o Chamber Three: 0% light
External temperature and humidity= same as control barrels in breezeway
o Chamber Four: 100% light
External temperature and humidity= same as control barrels in breezeway
